This is going to be the best Christmas ever!
Marvel’s No. 1 archer is coming to you this November with a double episode premiere, and he’s found a protégé.
Hawkeye will be the fifth and final Marvel Studios show to air on Disney Plus in 2021. The first seasons of WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, and What If…? have already ended.
Much like all of those shows, Hawkeye will turn the spotlight on a character that did not get nearly as much screen time in the movies as characters like Iron Man, Captain America, or Thor.
What to Expect!!
Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye is an original new series set in post-blip New York City where the former OG Avenger takes his family to New York City for some festive holiday cheer and that’s when everything starts to go sideways.
Clint Barton aka Hawkeye has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. But when a threat from his past shows up, Hawkeye reluctantly teams up with Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old skilled archer, and his biggest fan, to unravel a criminal conspiracy. Here’s to hoping there are more trick arrows under the tree this year.
The six-episode Disney Plus series is scheduled to debut on Nov. 24 with not one but two instalments.
The series stars Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, a young archer and No. 1 fan of Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), aka Hawkeye. The duo work together to defeat enemies Barton picked up as his ruthless alter ego Ronin – and they must do so in order to get home in time for Christmas.
Just from the initial trailer, we can see that the levels of wholesomeness will be off the charts.
